Navina Heyne was born in Berlin and received her diploma as a musical actress at the Bavarian Theatre Academy August Everding in Munich. Immediately after graduating she was a finalist in the ZDF casting show Musical Showstar, hosted by Thomas Gottschalk. In 2012 Navina was a semi-finalist in the renowned international
Kurt Weill Foundation Singing Competition in New York.
She played leading roles in German-language premieres such as ROCK OF AGES (Sherrie), BONNIE & CLYDE (Blanche) and SIDE SHOW (Daisy), as well as in many well-known plays, including DRACULA (Lucy), SPAMALOT (Lady of the Lake), THE 3 MUSKETEERS (Queen Anne) and CHESS (Florence). For the latter, she was awarded the
Roswitha Ring. As Mathilde Ill she played in the German premiere of
THE VISIT at the Tecklenburg Open Air Theater, where she also swept across the stage in 2024 as Rosie and cover Donna in MAMMA MIA. Alongside Angelika Milster she played the lead role in the Rosamunde Pilcher musical WECHSELSPIEL DER LIEBE and played Mercédès in the acclaimed Lüneburg production of the musical THE COUNT OF MONTE CHRISTO. With her portrayal of Christine in the "Phantom of the Opera" sequel LOVE NEVER DIES she definitively became a celebrated audience favorite at the Lüneburg Theater.
In addition to joint musical engagements she tours with her husband Thomas Borchert
regularly with MR & MRS MUSICAL and "LET THE SKY FALL - The BOND Concert Show" and she is part of the world's largest ABBA tribute show "ABBAMANIA" as "Agnetha" since 2023.
